Developed by Ponto Rima during the pandemic, Deriva emerged from the desire to reconnect with the city at a time when everyday life was restricted to domestic spaces. The collection translates memories of wandering through downtown São Paulo into objects, bringing fragments of the streets into the home.
Deriva Tiles
The project began with personal experiences and observations of the city. Four buildings were selected and translated into isometric illustrations, capturing the architectural details that shaped their identity. These illustrations became the visual language of a collection of objects and printed materials, extending the same approach across different formats.
The project was documented through an editorial photographed in the streets that inspired the collection, reconnecting the objects with their original context.
